Buying from the USA using GSP

Looking at buying an item for approx £80 inc estimated postage, seller using the GSP.
Checking the terms to make sure i do not get stung from customs etc. It seems very clear that it includes taxes and shipping etc except for taxes not included??
GSP includes duties and taxes then the next section with the exclusions.
Excludes duties and taxes ?
Will i be stung on this?
Its a tool, but not a very heavy one and with a very high markup in the UK so potentially a good saving, but adding anything additional to the purchase & postage wont be worthwhile to me. I can get something else.

I have not bought anything from the USA for a very long while because of GSP and its OTT charges.
I have been able to find the same/similar to what I'm looking for on various eBay EU sites, in one case I bought something from a guy in the Canaries which was a first for me.
Appreciate this doesn't answer your question but it is a thought.0 -

I thought it included everything, but like you I saw the 'exclusions' and became concerned about double charging. In my case I decided I didn't trust eBay and sourced my item privately.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Have you tried amazon.com for the item? I often buy items from USA this way. Not everything can be shipped to UK but a lot does. Often they refund afterwards as they took too much for customs etc.. Although its normally under £10

Bought twice from the US last month using GSP.
All I paid was the amount shown, no extras charged.0 -
Its a tool with blades on it so you cannot sell it on ebay UK. very few on Amazon and silly prices.
Even with the GSP charges it still comes in way less than buying elsewhere in the UK etc
But if i get additional charges then i can choose another brand item and source it from the UK.
$75 + $22.90 on Amazon US where its available for less than $60, The issue is they wont post it or want stupid money.
