I did - europantry site isn't working: nothing happens when you click 'add to basket' or 'view cart' and Sally Clarke doesn't do online ordering - you have to phone in for mail order but limited range of products available this way and delivery charge likely to be a bit prohibitive for 1 pack of lentils. Hence the search for either a local supplier or an online one with a working online ordering sytem/catalogue so I can see everything they sell and order other things as well to justify the delivery costs.

I managed to get some lentticchie verdi from Abruzzo but probably not quite the same

Found them!! La Fromagerie does them, they are in Highbury London, and from Nife is Life at a hefty £7:90 for 500g so maybe if someone can locate them cheaper yet still authentic, they should get a medal.

Found a recipe with these in today (Carluccio, simple meals) and rushed to our own Italian Continental Stores in Maidenhead ...

but they didn't have any! So I've emailed them - they are just moving to bigger premises - to see if they can get them in.
