  • Ok thanks! I shall continue reading until the time comes.
  • Having read through some recent case summaries, the only realistic ground I have to appeal on is the parking charge does not reflect a genuine pre-estimate of loss. Is this correct and should I be researching this thread? Thanks
  • And would it be wise to write a letter to the leisure centre where the ticket was issued? Says in the newbie section to do so but unsure as what to write.

No that's not correct. That's old news, after the Beavis case, so I'm not sure where you are looking. Did you start reading 'POPLA Decisions' from the wrong end, from the 2012 start which is far too long ago?

What about what I've said about them not sending you a NTK in the post, and the fact the signs are illegible in their evidence?

What about no landowner authority which you will see if you read the 2016 wins in 'POPLA decisions' is VERY commonly the winning point at POPLA? Start at the END of that thread. EDIT - JUST ADDED ANOTHER SUCCESS, NateR just beat UKPC on 'no landowner authority' at POPLA but could easily have won on 'unreadable signs in the dark'.

100% POPLA win rate v UKPC.

Yes and guidance and LOADS of examples are in the link in the NEWBIES thread 'Successful complaints about PPCs'. Hundreds of them, lots of examples of complaints that worked!
