Patio Paving Stones

Anybody in recent times had an area done with paving stones?
What design did you go for, what make, what cost (per metre) and were you pleased with the end result??
The area I have to consider is in the region of 80 square metres!
Quite like rustic copper slate look, or riven Yorkshire sandstone.
