Discovered that the Swatch shop will replace batteries for free in Swatch watches. Thought I'd mention it here in case, like me, anyone didn't know this. I guess I might have known if I'd bought from a Swatch shop rather than at the airport.

    The Bull Ring shop gets my vote too.

    I took my 1984 swatch in and they changed the battery, cleaned the glass, valued it and gave me a box to put it in. All for the cost of the battery. The guy who helped me was quite impressed as the watch I have is quite rare, he'd never seen one before.

    All I need now is to find a Vintage Swatch collector to sell it too.
