Hi everyone,
I am a student and I play for a 5 a side football team. We recently missed 2 consecutive matches and were told we were liable to pay our match fee of £32 for each week-something which we are not disputing. The figure we are being quoted is £84, but clearly it should be £64. So we have refused to pay anything so far and are being harassed with debt collection letters and are being threatened with legal action. I was wondering if anyone has any advice. We are all 1st year students and none of us really have any experience of this sort of thing.
Thanks,
James

Have you asked what the additional £20 is for? Are you in some sort of contract?0

As you accept that you owe £64, why haven't you paid that?bennett4123 wrote: »Hi everyone,

What do the T&Cs say? Do they specify a £20 admin fee for chasing late payments?0
