I am looking for a reasonabley cheap Blu-Ray player, that is, or can be made Multi Region for DVD's only.
It needs to have a Scart output socket too.
Sadly Richer Sounds do not sell multi region anything anymore.
Does anyone know of a unit that fits the bill?
I would prefer a shop instead of online purchase if possible

I'd be supprised if many modern Blu-Ray players had scart, kinda defeats the purpose.0

I can buy an adapter so it will work with old TV.
Got any advice for the multi region part of my question?0 -
This any good ? - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-DMP-BD83EB-K-Network-Blu-ray-Player/dp/B00ZAIWVY0/ref=sr_1_1?s=home-theater&ie=UTF8&qid=1455889382&sr=1-1
Won't the adaptor cost almost as much as the player ?0 -

As far as I'm aware Blu-ray players now aren't allowed analogue outputs the only use digital connections like HDMI to ensure that the HDCP copy protection is in place.0 -
OP should probably buy a cheap multi region DVD player and a cheap Blu-Ray (if he truly needs one). The OP certainly wouldn't see any of the benefits of a Blu-Ray playing over a SCART connection.0

Something like the Sony BDPS185B.CEK should cover what you want.
No SCART but phono line out for composite video and a pair of audio out phonos so unless you were looking for a RGB out, it'll cover it.Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0 -

Is there a reason you want a blu-ray player? as people have said it kind of defeats the point if you are going to play it through scart.0
