Talk Talk: no emails until the 22 Feb they inform us.

My emails had stopped coming for two days then briefly a few arrived yesterday and now they have stopped again. They informed me on the phone we'll have to wait until the 22 Feb before they put it right.

They say there's something wrong with their servers and will get back to me. I was wondering if they have been hacked again as this a long time to be without their email service and I can't be the only one.

I'm also worried they have no email back up as some emails have not turned up when a few arrived yesterday then stopped again.

On this forum Talk Talk representatives try to brush you off from asking questions on here as they don't want more damming publicity after the hacking fiasco by asking you to register on their forum, but as I can't receive any emails I cannot register by replying to the reply email they send. Also, when I tried to register they refused my current email address with them so I gave up. :doh:

On their website its not obvious where their forum is situated.

In this day and age you should not be relying on an ISPs email service . Especially if some of your mail is critical .

The TT email problem has been posted in the last few days and referenced from TT rep .

This the first time that its gone haywire with them since I started out with Tiscali, who where then taken over by Talk Talk, which was years ago. My Yahoo account has given me problems in the past as well.

Why would anyone in their right mind use an isp email service these days?
Either get your own website or use webmail. There's simply no excuse.

NO THEY DO NOT!


I have had 2 x tt accounts and you set the preference WHERE you want to receive there junk


in fact I don,t even think I have a TT email account


get yourself a GMX.co.uk account , run thru thunderbird or outlook , GMX delivers less junk than gmail
