Parking at Wembley stadium 12th Sep
I am driving to wembley for the England game against Russia - I need to sort out where im going to park - does anyone have any idea's? I can park at a nearby tube station and catch a tube or are there any other options? rather not spend £25 parking at the stadium.

The traditional route for anyone north of Wembley is get off M1 J4, park at Stanmore station, and take the Jubilee Line down to Wembley Park.
If youre coming from the west, use one of the Metroland Met line stations, although I dont know about parking at those stations eg Amersham.illegitimi non carborundum0 -

If you get in and around Wembley early you will see people advertising parking on their driveways. They did it before it was knocked down. You need to be early though and look for the houses with the signs outside. Please do not feed the Trolls!0

I'm also going to this game but coming from the South.
Are there any recommendations for other areas I could park at, rather than having to drive round to the other side of the M25?
Thanks

I would guess if you get there about 6ish, it may cost you a pound offpeak, and there will be loads of spaces freed up from commuters.live north so stanmore will be fine - do you know how much it is to park there and will i get a space if i leave early?illegitimi non carborundum0 -

Although the Jubilee Line is not affected by the underground strikes, there is still (as at Wed 5 Sept 2007 15.15 hours) another 72 hour tube strike scheduled to commence next Monday, 10th Sept. This will clearly cause massive problems at Wembley on Wednesday 12th Sept if it's not called off.
So, you may want to keep an eye on what's happening and have some contingency plan in place.0 -
You can find Local Residents selling parking spaces on private driveways for Wembley Events on Ebay.;)0
