Put it in a big jiffy bag, stick a couple of stamps on, and post it in a postbox.

Get some big bits of cardboard (enough to cover the bike - take the wheels off and put them alonside the frame / loosen the handlebars and turn the lenght ways on) and at least a whole roll of brown parcel tape. You'll probably need to use at least the whole roll to secure the bike within the cardboard. Then use https://www.parcel2go.com to collect the package and deliver it for £10.86.0

Stick it in the back of a car and delivery it yourself!!
Or even ride it there, and ask him to give you a lift back home

My in-laws own a bike shop and every week have lots of bike boxes that get thrown out. I suggest you try your local shop, i am sure they will be more than willing to donate one for freer2b89_ wrote:HI,

Once the wheels are off and the handlebars turned and perhaps drooped (depending what type), the biggest bits sticking out are pedals and derailleur gears. I'd certainly detach the derailleur and tape alongside the stay still attached to the cable, and if you can remove the pedals, screw them back on the inside of the cranks.0
