Water heater cylinder

I hope someone can answer this.
If I am removing the bathtub do I need a hot water cylinder? The immersion heater has not been turned on in over a year!
The dishwasher and washing machine are not connected directly to the hot water supply and the shower is a power shower not reliant on the hot water in the cylinder.

We are on Economy 7 heating and using storage heaters so there is no central heating system reliant on the hot water either.

Thanks ;)

If you don't need hot water from the taps then you don't need a hot water cylinder.

You'd have to heat any hot water you need either by using a kettle or you could get an instantaneous water heater to fit in the kitchen if required.

You might get some raised eyebrows when you come to sell the place or a slightly miffed landlord if you rent, so it might devalue your home a bit or you'd have to replace it with something if rented
