Isn't the LA search required by the mortgage company? Would I then just have to send it to them myself?
NO!
Your solicitor is acting for you and your lender. They need to see the search to raise any enquires that need to be asked on behalf of you bothCurrently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

I was just replying to the above comment that I shouldn't need to forward the search to my conveyancer if I organised it myself. So, I would need to forward it?0

We've used searchflow in the past and they are not bad, they tend to be quite quick, in my experience.
Its likely your conveyancer is waiting for all of the searches back before forwarding them on to you. Some of them, like the environmental one, are normally immediate so chances are your conveyancer could access it now. But as people have pointed out, you've gone with a discount conveyancer so the service is likely to be discount service.
The local authority one is normally the longest. In my area they are normally back within a week but some local authorities have very poor track records. I think Wiltshire is the slowest, hopefully you are not buying there!
All I can say really is be patient, they will probably be back soon. And next time use a local solicitor you can get meaningful updates from.My credit card: £148.07/£694.91 (21%)

We are buying in North Yorks who state 5-10 working days.
I asked the person I spoke to earlier to find out whether any were back, and they logged onto the Searchflow account and said not a single one was back....?!
Apparently Searchflow have now marked this file as "urgent", but I'm not feeling hugely reassured by this....0 -

Doesn't sound right to me, the environmental search should be back at least, even if the other two take longer.
Groundsure, Landmark etc are very quick, we normally get ours the same day (not through searchflow but the same type of report). My credit card: £148.07/£694.91 (21%)
