Dodgy Plumber/Builder

I was in Toolstation yesterday, St Helens
There was this guy there with a built in shower valve, buying 600mm flexible tap connectors to connect to the shower.
Not only will these cheap braided flexis rust when the pipes are plastered over, the bore of the hoses will be about 8mm. Severely reducing the flow to the shower.
A thankyou is payment enough .

I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

Was he using it for a shower though? Plenty of pond owners with household plumbing installed.

Well he has one of these in his hand, trying to fit flexis to it.

Ha haa ha haaa ha haaa.. that's nearly as bad as the flexi I found connecting the incoming rising main to the system ;)

We don't even know he's going to. Ok given the fact he tried to fit them to the value would suggest that's was his intended use.. But plastering over them is the OPs interpretation of his intentions.

How do you know he was a plumber or builder? Could have been a homeowner looking for an easy DIY fix. Toolstation is not the preserve of the Tradesman
