  • Getting back on topic, I have rented several condos in the US over that last 10 years or so with no problem whatsoever. It helps if you book via the likes of Owners Abroad, AirNB, etc who offer a guarantee scheme. Having said that, I have sent money direct to owners' bank accounts.

    I always find the "I don't have a PayPal account sorry" line very silly coming from people who regularly receive payments from people. Just tell them nobody had a PayPal account until they signed up to it!. Its not like it costs money to sign up to.
