County coyrt claim form N1 received re. Civil enforcement

Hope you guys can help ?
I have received an N1 county court claim form re. an outstanding parking payable to Civil enforcement dated 16.3.2013 !
after reading many threads on here i have completely ignored all documentation up to this point but now feel it has gone too far and afraid that a CCJ is just round the corner.
The car park was a bit of waste land which no one used and i had no idea you had to pay for parking there, a supermarket has now built on it.
i am running out of time and don't know what to do, any advise would be welcome ?
thanks in advance

just read the other threads on the same subject posted here in the last 2 weeks (there are several , plus a few UKPC ones too that are similar)

you logon to mcol and acknowledge the claim saying it will be defended (dont put anything in the defence box yet)

you will have a further 14 days for your initial defence

post #1 of the NEWBIES sticky thread details the court claim advice, with good links you can read, plus parking pranksters court guide book too

he even blogged about this new wave of cases too

    http://parking-prankster.blogspot.co.uk/2016/02/civil-enforcement-limited-carry-out.html

so plenty to search for, to look at , to read, to do the research

but you need to acknowledge the claim and get another 2 weeks for starters

you CCJ claim is a non-starter though

why ? because you would have to go to court , LOSE , then fail to pay the judgment within 28 days, thats why

only then is it a CCJ and only then are bailiffs brought in for enforcement

if you pay, there is no CCJ !!

Start with the NEWBIES thread where there are links under a 'Small Claim' heading, underneath the stuff about appealing (which you don't need to read because it's too late to appeal). BUT don't dismiss the NEWBIE thread, go to the bit you DO need, the links are there for you.

Then search this forum for 'CEL Court' and another search 'Civil Enforcement Court' to find all the other recent threads where more advice has been added already which will help you (more than we could add here now, so do the search and read the advice as if it was for you!).

Don't read any thread older than NOVEMBER 2015.

Also search Google for 'Parking Prankster Civil Enforcement' and read his advice.

And search 'BMPA small claim' which has everything broken down to explain what to do. It's all about parking cases, expert advice from a charity existing to help people like you handle this and hopefully win at court or get them to discontinue when they see your defence.

Once you have acknowledged the claim (see the paperwork, leave the defence sections completely blank, not even a word in it) you can come back and show us the defence that you are starting to put together in bullet points. It will be based upon what you read here and in the BMPA and Prankster websites.

Just to add a recent example (long) defence for CEL.

Some might NOT relevant for you (e.g. if yours was a free car park you can't have the part about tariffs/Pay and Display and a 'simple finacial contract') but plenty of this is right for your defence - and shows you what to put at the start (and at the end as POPLA has not been tried yet):

Also read braquo99's thread here and send him/her a private message to compare notes & get confidence together about what to do:
