I am sorry but the above doesn't make any sense. A Uk energy energy consumer cannot go on to the Amazon site and buy a smart meter.

Yes it is, but suppliers also make mistakes. At the moment you can't be cut off without a court order. With smart meters someone can flick a switch and cut you off, making it rather hard to argue.0 -
