How can you buy concert tickets for top artists?

Could you pls advise?
It seems to me that you cannot buy tickets for top artists (Take That, Beyonce, etc) if you simply visit Ticketmaster, Stubhub. They're always sold out when you happen to remember that you want to see these artists.
Is there any tip that you can give?
My sincere thanks,

I find that it's best to be a member of fan pages etc as they will have pre sales for the tickets.0

Yes: no good at all 'happening to remember' - find out when booking opens, put a reminder on your phone/computer and then get in there the moment you can.0 -
Sorry I'm not 'in the know' either other than the previous advice given. I've noticed that I've missed events too, even with being signed up for notifications from Ticket Master etc. and when I have been 'on the ball' it seems that nowadays they're all pre-sold especially decent seating. But if you are willing to pay silly money, you can usually get VIP (front row stuff) offers when all is showing as sold out if you Google something like VIP tickets 'xyz' for name of whomever. Think Barclaycard and American Express do similar and I believe there's some new concert ticket offers via Amazon....0

o2 priority and the Amex equivalent give you presale of a day or so which is very useful...
Not that I ever want to pay £100+ to see an "Artist" such as Beyonce mind youHello There. :beer:0 -
Some venues will send you an email to tell you what's new on sale. Check the websites of your local ones, see if they do it.0

I’ve moved your thread from the ‘I wanna’ board to the ‘Theatre, Concert & Events’ board, where it is better suited.

If you want to see a particular performer then sign up to their own mailing list.
Similarly, signing up to alerts from the specific venue as others have suggested, and making a diary note, will help.
For some venues you can buy memberships which entitles you to priority booking, but you still have to remember to actually use it!All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)0 -
If you were looking for tickets for Beyonc!, I have some due to miscommunication with friends
The concert is in Dublin on 9th July.

My sincere thanks,
Popular artists sell out very quickly, so you have to be online, logged in and have fast internet for when the tickets become live. Some of the big sites such as AXs and Eventim have waiting rooms online that you join 30 mins to an hour before the sale goes live, so you are first in the queue. Even if it says sold out keep checking as some tickets may be released from those that add to basket and do not complete the order. Also they often put on extra dates if tickets sell out so keep checking during the day, even if they say sold out. Also nearer the date, they often release extra tickets, so again keep checking. Joining fan clubs or getting an 02 venue code if you have an 02 sim phone card to get pre-sale tickets.
For e.g. today upon checking Beyonce has tickets available on TM for Wembley as an extra date was added for 3/7/16 at Wembley:0 -
