Postage paid letter with nothing inside

I received a post paid letter when opened it was empty.
It was HQ39067 ,any ideas please?

    Your best bet would be to contact Royal Mail - only they'll know which account HQ39067 is tied to and at that they may not give you the details.

    Put it in the bin and move on? Probably a computer system error.

    How would anyone know why you received an empty envelope?
  • I was only interested to see if other people had received a similar letter
