Debenhams Plus - any experiences

Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience. Ordered a Nokia mobile phone from them (not a smartphone), and although it all appeared brand new and sealed, the charger didn't quite fit properly - the plug is a bit too long to fit snugly. However it does charge so I was happy to cut my losses. Until....
after a couple of weeks in use it won't hold a full charge even 1day when not actually used at all, just powered on with no bluetooth. This is way lower than a new non-smartphone should last.
Makes me think this isn't 100% factory new stock.
Anyone used them for mobiles or other electronics?

Never used them personally - but perhaps you've been unlucky and received the wrong charger which has in turn damaged the phone due to continued use and/or just simply received a faulty handset.
Have you contacted them to try and remedy this? If it's less than 30 days you should be able to reject and return for a full refund.0 -
Interestingly, it appears Debenhams Plus is just a front for Appliances Direct and nothing to do with Debenhams.
I hate dealing with these 3rd party "arms length" transactions - I chose Debenhams not only on price but on a certain reputation for customer service. I hope that Appliances Direct have the same standards.... will report back here how they handle my problem0
