what was the outcome - i am in the same position at the op
As the OP hasn't ever made any more posts in the last three years, it's unlikely they're going to see your message and come back and give an update
But if you're in the exact same position as OP your options are basically to either:
1) Delay completion to give time for your conveyancer to register as necessary to be able to claim a bonus;
2) Engage a new solicitor that is already cleared to claim a bonus, although that might be more costly than sticking with the one you've already engaged and if you are tight on time (2 days to completion per OP) you will likely still need to delay completion
3) Give up on the idea of getting the bonus
If you follow any of the above and end up out of pocket and believe it to be not your fault, and that it was the fault of your original solicitor for misleading you that they would be able to successfully claim the bonus to fund your transaction, follow the solicitor's complaints process to try to get them to reduce their fee or stump up for your consequential losses.0 -
Poster has already completed, as per https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/75398950#Comment_75398950 onwards....bowlhead99 wrote: »

Is this an issue with LISA too?0

Is what an issue with LISA too? LISA is different from HTB in its application of bonuses (added continually rather than in one go at the end) but in any case your username implies that this might be a moot point anyway?Reluctantpensioner wrote: »Is this an issue with LISA too?0
