Bluetooth on an ASUS laptop

I am trying to figure out why Bluetooth should not work on an Asus X555LA - running Windows 10 .
The icon is missing but the drivers are up to date (according to Windows Update)......
Any suggestions ?
What "brand" of Bluetooth hardware is installed ?
Asus offer REALTEK (x2), BROADCOM (x2), QUALCOMM and RALINK options

but what will a UK laptop use ?
