I have just purchased a new HP Laptop from Tesco running Win 8.1
It has Mcafee antivirus pre-installed.
Is this a full program or trail for one month - I suspect the later.
Could someone please give the the removal tool for this?

If you trust McAfee (<chuckle!>) to remove its own software, then Control Panel -> Programs and features should show McAfee in the list of installed software. Right-click on the McAfee line, and select Uninstall.
It shouldn't be necessary to use a separate McAfee Removal Tool - since both the Uninstaller and the Remover were actually written by McAfee themselves!0
