Ebay - How to sue / get compensation
Comments
-
People replied how they did because they can't believe you're actually serious about suing a company when you're better off than before and sometimes you get a bit of hassle when resolving issues. It's just life. Surely you can see how silly it sound
Btw, speaking to a solicitor over a legal matter is not a stupid reply, it's good advice. The Internet is not the place for serious legal advice. The above applies to rest of that reply.
You asked for advice on what was realistic. You got the answer, just not how you expected.
When everyone on a thread replies in the same manner and/or with the same advice there's usually a reason behind it!0 -
So Ebay
Basically the amount of hassle they have caused me I now want some compensation from them – Thinking small claims court, they wont bother turning up and judgment will be found in my favor
The small claims court isnt actually a court , they will receive a copy of your claim ( county court summons) which gives them a chance to defend your claim, this will be looked at and as I suspect it comes under the heading of consequential loss your claim will get thrown out .
Alternatively you may prefer the answer of go for it , you are bound to win a huge pay out . ( now does that feel better? )Vuja De - the feeling you'll be here later0 -
Must be half-term week again
