vauxhall zafira spare key

i have just bought a second hand zafira (2002) from a trader which unfortunately came with one key. the other problem is that the car pass card which contain all the codes for the key, immobiliser and the radio is missing. obviously i need to sort out another key as soon as possible as with 2 kids in the house the chance of losing the key are high:eek: ....now i contacted a vauxhall dealer who quoted me £117 for a new programmed key and a new pass card with all the codes:mad: ...does that seem reasonable?can i get cheaper anywhere else?

I think that price sounds about right unfortunatly, my ex was quoted that for a second key but got the dealer he got the car from to pay for it

I'm afraid these keys with built in microchips are only available from dealers or very specialist key cutters.

The quoted price does sound about right, prices are normally between £50-£200 depending on make and model.

I've just bought a remote key for our new Corsa which only came with one remote key and one non-remote key. Total for the remote fob and blade was £54ish. The guy did say that if we didn't have the pass card then it costs more as they have to order one. Then you have to pay the cost of coding the key to the car.

thank you all fr replies...i phoned few dealers and the cheapest i could i find was £110...it sounds tht i have no other option.
