glad to here that things are getting better, but please still get your self down to the Job Centre to sign on as it means that you NI contributions are credited, which might be important if your ex-employer did not pay your NI for a few weeks.. Also you may get some money, and if you do not get paid immediately you get work, it will help.
Also get hold of CAb, as you are definately entitled to more money from your ex employer. If he is prosecuted, you could get a payment for the work for which you were not paid properly. takes ages but it will help with the money eventually.
The other thing is please go onto www.entitledto.com. Since you both earnt really low wages, you might be entiteled to working tax credit. If you do not ask, you do not get.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
