in Credit cards
Hi,
hoping you can help me out.
My statement date is the 6th, just logged onto the online banking website and, on the summary it says:
Current balance: £320.24
Value of pending transactions: £283.79 CR
Available credit: £1,479.76
Credit limit: £1,800
"Recent transactions" say that there's no recent transactions, which makes sense as I haven't used it.
What I don't get is, the £320 is the current balance, is the £283 CR to be added to that, making it £37 I'll have left, or is the current balance taking into account the credit?
thanks
hoping you can help me out.

if you work back from the credit limit £1800 take away ,£1479.76 that leaves you with £320.24 which is the amount you currently owe.
£283.79 CR(CR means "credit" to the account) is a pending transaction to the account(ie. you have paid this ammount into the account but it is still in the banking system and has not yet been credited to your account)
When it has been credited to your account £283.79 will come off of £320.24-you will still owe the credit card account £36.45.
You will have £1763.55 credit to spend.Previously known as Bokken, registered at MSE in Nov 04,computer glich deleted my access but it is fun building up my stars from scratch,again.:D0 -
