BT v Talk Talk

I am interested in Talk Talk as I can add children's channels to a basic package.
However, when I try and see how much it will all cost me, they add in line rental.
I am locked into BT Broadband and line rental, so don't need this aspect. It is just the TV aspect. Or can I not have it separate?

Talk Talk have just told me that I would have to cancel my BT line rental if I were to take out a TV package with Talk Talk.
If I had known this, I wouldn't have fixed with BT for a year.
But hindsight is a wonderful thing.
My next question is will Sky say the same thing?Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

Not available separately part of the overall package. See you other post for a possible solution.0 -

No Sky TV can be separate from phone and BB.0 -
Sky uses a satellite dish for its TV and so don't need to touch your broadband and phone. TT TV and BT TV use the internet and the internet uses your phone line. No phone line, no internet. So its TT TV with TT phone line, and BT TV with BT phone line. BT TV has kids channels,
Both options are far cheaper than Sky.0 -

Thanks.
I think I might just go for BT TV seeing as I already get my broadband and line rental through them. Thanks for this. Never even knew it was an option!Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010
