If employed and working 45hrs, your partner should earn £16,848 next tax year subject to pension contributions (and assuming he is at least 25).
However tax credits will still be based on £15,950 because the income won't then increase by more than £2500.
There may be a small amount of WTC. I can't calculate without knowing full circumstances however.0
