Small bathroom. We had someone in already to do the bath and do the walls (the plastic sheet stuff). Charged us something like £250 for day and halfs work.
Anyway, cut long story short but hes not available to do the rest.
So got a quote from someone else. Fit new toilet, fit wooden floor, fit new cupboards (already built), new worktop, two new sinks. Very small bathroom (3x3m max). They reckoned two days work max.
Quote = £1600 :mad::mad::mad:
£100 an hour then based on 8 hour day. Am I right in thinking this is a bit pricey to say the least?

In no way casting any aspersions. But if I am brought in to a job that has been started, work completed to a reasonable standard and the contractor has left. I would want to know why with a strong suspicion it boils down to lack of money. possibly resulting in a high estimate to get me out of it.0
