Post Office On Line Saver

I have at current 4 Post Office Online Savers accounts and I have never had any trouble with withdrawing funds. All 4 are claiming via direct debit each month from 4 different accounts.
I would like to know if anyone else has more than the allowed 1 sole and 1 joint as indicated by the Post Office website?
I have opened mine all about every 6 months or so and it is always because the Post Office offer me them in My Offers when I log in (therefore I'm assuming they are saying that it is OK to have them as well as my existing ones). I am only asking as I need more direct debits due to the change with the BOS Vantage accounts in September.0 -
You could set up a GoCardless account. This allows you to be a 'DD receiver'. https://gocardless.com/
Basically set the account you want to receive money into as the Go Cardless account and then set a DD up to come out of the account you need the DD in.
Go Cardless is free to use/setup, no commitments. Their charge is 1% of any DD taken so set a DD up for £1 and it costs you 1p. You will have £1 taken out of your Lloyds account and 99p deposited into your account that you defined as the bank account for your Go Cardless account.
I use it on my Lloyds account, it takes £1 and deposits the '99p' into my First Direct accountIt may sound complex but it really is not and works well. You can use this for other accounts needing DDs too as there are no limits to the number you can set up.
Thanks for this. Just set one up.
It looks this is more for businesses. What did you put down for "What does your business do".0 -

I've got 2 sole and so does my OH. All pulling via DD every month. Never had an issue. The additional ones were offered via the My Offers section on the website.0 -
Thanks Murmeltier
It looks like if they are offering them in 'My Offers' then you are not doing anything wrong with accepting them, otherwise they shouldn't offer you a new one if it is against their T&C's.0 -

I rang and spoke to member on gocardless, they told me you cannot set up direct debits if you are not a business owner/trader.
Is that correct that you have to be a trader or have a business?
Or are you not a business owner?
Thanks.
Await your reply in anticipation.

Brenda.....When I recently entered my details on GoCardless, the process wouldn't accept me as an individual. "Submit details" didn't respond and it being an anti-money laundry question I didn't want to invent.0
