Postage Charges

Good Morning,
I recently ordered two of the same offers via group-on. (Wooden chopping board) Went online to order the product, asked the company if shipping/postage could be combined on my orders and was told that one product is equivalent to one parcel. Fair enough. I paid £4.95 each for the items to be posted, this took almost two weeks to be delivered. Both orders were in the same box and had been shipped together even though I had paid two separate delivery charges.
Am I within my rights to ask for one of the postage costs to be refunded?

While you can of course ask, I do not think the retailer is obliged to offer any refund. You received the items you ordered for the price you were quoted. The fact that the items arrived in one box should make no difference to you.0
