Alternatives to BT Anytime package?

Currently a BT Landline and Fibre customer.
On a 3 month trial of the Anytime call package
Are there any alternatives out there that are cheaper than the £8/month BT want

If you are prepared to get your broadband from elsewhere, BT Home Phone Saver includes line rental, Anytime inclusive calls to 01, 02 and 03 numbers, caller ID, voicemail 1571, and several other features. The cost is £20.99 per month and guaranteed until January 2018. It also currently includes calls to 0845 and 0870 numbers.
If you are changing to a different provider, Sky, TalkTalk and Virgin also have deals with Anytime inclusive calls to 01, 02 and 03 numbers, but their deals also include calls to mobile numbers (or there is an add-on that covers them).0 -
i am in contract with bt.
A few years ago when i was a bt customer - my calls went via primus.
is that type of arrangement still available?0
