Hi,
I've been paying Experian Credit Expert £3.99 per month for their monitoring service.
I was told when signing up in 2014 that I would receive email notifications if anything dodgy flagged up on my credit or ID details and nothing was ever emailed to me so I thought everything was fine.
I recently cancelled my lost cards so Experian were unable to take the monthly subscription from my account and I started receiving reminders from them via email.
I decided to login to my credit expert account to see whats going on and I was horrified to find 20 notifications that they've failed to notify me about which included details of my email address and password being up for sale on the black market.
I've sent them an email asking what exactly have I payed for each month and they fired back an email saying they've cancelled my account, in normal circumstances I should have contacted them by telephone but under the circumstances they've cancelled it with immediate effect and made it sound like they're doing me a favour!!
Would you advise asking for a refund of my subscription money because they have not supplied the service they promised?
I checked my junk mail and nothing was every sent except their reminders of overdue subscription money to my inbox (cheeky gits)
Would you demand your money back?
Thanks for any advice
