Excel Parking Fine

Hi,

I got an excel parking fine, for not paying for a parking ticket, however, I was going to pay for the parking ticket but the machine was not working so I left, it I could not take an image of the issue or call them because I did not have my phone.

I thought that was the only payment machine there, there was no clear instructions on where to find the next payment machines if this machine was out of order.

I have appealed and told them, waiting for their reply, but as I have Googled they'll probably reject it.

What shall I do?

This is not any kind of "fine"!

Start by having a very good read of the Newbies Sticky at the top of this forum, then post back here when you have a clearer idea of your situation and the best avenue to deal with it.

I missed the fact that this OP had used the F word, must have made it up as there has definitely not been any "fine" involved here, its impossible for Excel to "fine" anybody

however, they have been "ripped off"

Of course, whilst Excel and thereafter debt collectors, will cut down more trees to send you rubbish.

Whoever can develop a printer that can use toilet paper will make a fortune with these scammers

There is a lot to absorb in the newbies thread, but I quick glimpse and I have slightly f* up by complaining to them already.

However, considering the machine was not working - what could I do?

I mean IPC will also reject my claim because their all full of sh**,

What can people suggest - is it my responsibility in this case to find another machine and go to that one?...

I could offer them the outstanding amount of 50p (I think that's how much it costs) - if they don't accept it tough shi*

The advice varies for IPC members who use a kangaroo court appeals system.


Ignore for six years unless you get real court papers,
or, appeal and then ignore for six years unless you get real court papers.


Only you can decide.

It's not a 'claim' on your part - you have no claim. And what is suggested is already in the NEWBIES thread post #3 about IAS stage. Don't bother with IAS, it is futile in almost every case and puts you on the back foot when you inevitably lose after they've 'gone through the motions' and found in favour of Excel. And then Excel would be buoyed by the win and would put more pressure on you.

Yes it is. You left yourself wide open to this scam. Take notice of private parking signs and boycott that retail park in future.

Unless you are naive enough to pay this (we wouldn't) you'll have to ignore the thing unless you get court papers or a Letter before claim.
