Final bill from EDF

Hi,
I need some advice as I've been sent a final bill from EDF Energy which was billed from 24th July 2012 - 18th September 2012.
It's for £11.43.
Back then I was going to switch energy providers from SSE but decided against it after they sent a "Sorry to hear you're leaving" letter and offered a £50 credit if I stayed with them.
So I've stayed with them since and didn't think that I ever left or switched over to EDF as I thought nothing of it, So why have they sent me a final bill payment a couple of years later??
I've ignored the bill but payment was due on the 12th Feb.
What should I do as it seems a bit pointless sending me a bill for £11.43 nearly 3 years later!

Pay the bill. You owe them £11:430

Ignoring the bill is stupid, if you end up with a CCJ you'll regret it. Call SSE and confirm whether your service was ever moved. Then call EDF and pay up/ advise you've confirmed with SSE at that time.0

I've phoned EDF and they've waived the £11.43!
