Free/cheap website builder I can point my domain name at?

The free website builders/hosters out there don't usually let you point your existing domain name at the site they're hosting for you. Are there any that do? Or charge closer to £1 a month than £5?

My existing site is with Moonfruit. I seem to be on a legacy plan, which is free and lets me point my domain name to the site. But they've recently replaced their original subtle mention of their name at the bottom of the site with an in-your-face banner at the top of it.

Weebly charge £5 a month to point to your existing domain name (weebly.com/uk/pricing)

Oh, that's clever! Thanks for the heads-up.

Oh well, as it's a free site I don't care too much if it gets hacked. My details aren't showing as compromised on that haveibeenpwned.com site.

is 000 the site that has to veryify everything you upload and change?

I used one maybe 0000 ? Supposedly within 24 hours but one check took 3 days and only after i contacted them.
Having to wait for them to verify the same page but with one typo correct was a PITA.

I'm trying out ucoz.com. It's probably not for the absolute beginner, but I only need a basic site and I'm making progress. I haven't tried pointing my domain to it yet, but supposedly you can, for free.
