Hi, I'm about to do this switch. I'm sure I've read on here that it's a good idea to get the DD's setup and tested prior to the switch just to make sure they work ok? Sorry if I have this wrong.

What do Halifax's T&C's say (or more to the point what do they not say) in regard to the switching incentive.
  • Thanks all, got it now

Can the £750 monthly deposit come from another Halifax acc in a seperate name?
    Thank you.

You should really not proceed with any account for which you are unable to find the T&Cs on the provider's website. It would most likely be a scam.

Really? You couldn't find the link directly from the main product page at http://www.halifax.co.uk/bankaccounts/current-accounts/reward-current-account/?

Yes it can. As to 'why' it can, well that'll be found on page 5 as already advised. Hint: You're looking for what it doesn't say, as much as what it does say!

As we say in this neck of the woods, there's more than one way to skin a cat!

For example, I went to their homepage and saw the search box. In there I typed 'Reward terms and conditions' and pressed the button marked 'search' The link to the page eskbanker has provided above was the 4th in the list of search results returned.
