Hi,
The government recently published its review of the Student Loan Repayment for Higher Education:
www gov.uk/ government/ uploads/ system/ uploads/ attachment_data/ file/ 499432/BIS-16-8-student-loan-repayment-for-sustainable-higher-education-strategy-February-2016. pdf
Within this strategy it talks of people being verified and unverified with the Student Loans Company. It states that 11.3% of borrowers are unverified with the SLC and that strong action will be taken against those that are unverified to recover the debt.
Does anyone know how to find out if they are verified with the SLC or not? I receive a yearly statement from the SLC does that mean I'm 'verified'?

They class verified as those paying via their employer, or confirmed that they do not need to pay. So if you get statements, and are paying via PAYE or SLC themselves, then you are confirmed.0
