Something to check......"Key benefits at a glance" include "two years fixed price promise".

After one year they put the price up. Doesn't sound much like a price promise to me. They reverted the price back when I called them about this, but it doesn't sound like they will do this for everyone else automatically......you'll need to give them a call.

Okay, a little more detail would help.

Central heating cover. Initial contract for one year. Booklet sent with the confirmation detailed the "Key benefits at a glance" include "two years fixed price promise".

Monthly price went up after the first year was up, called them, monthly price went back down again.

insurance doesnt have a '2 year fixed price promise' as a key benefit that isnt a benefit at all (or in fact true) based on what the OP said.
