Hello all, bitterly cold here but beautifully bright and I am indoors anyway.

Day off as I need to use up about 3 weeks holiday, can carry some but nowhere near all, by the end of March. So far have had a tidy round, though tidiness does not last here, 3 loads of washing, ironed a lot of stuff, changed bedding, pooled about in pointless manner. Lovely.

Leftovers from homemade Chinese cookery for lunch.

Now will carry on with making tiny animals and admiring the pretty sky.

Hope you feel better soon , I don't seem able to re space that

Judi, hope Ginge is on the mend, I did have a giggle picturing you 'blow drying' her bottom

Well if it works on stitches after youve had a baby i am assuming it will work on her stitched rear end.:rotfl:

Youngest said "dont forget to use the cool setting".

So its a matter of

"Come here Ginge. &rse up, tail up and away we go".:D

I cant say she's very keen but theres some things youve just got to do.

I'm finding it difficult to get started today. Managed the bedrooms but thats as far as ive got. Still, ive got all week. :)

Well I've been in the tech board most of this afternoon and, with the help of some great people, managed to sort out the problem with the small laptop - it's now moving along much faster and like it's old self.

I've also managed to get one of the emails addresses which 'stuck' on the new iPad going again. New printer can be seen by everything and I'm going to lie down in a darkened room for a short time.

I'm actually quite handy with software (it's what I teach) but not so hot on hardware which is rather techie for me.

That's the end of my adventures in techie land - more than enough for the rest of the year I hope.

Perhaps I'll have some lunch now. Mum gave me (more) left over venison which she had put in the freezer. I forgot to put it in mine yesterday so that's what I'll be having for the next three days. :rotfl:

I shall try to erase from my minds' eye the image of a dog having it's bum blow dryed. :rotfl:

LW what breed is Millie? My Candy used to hate other dogs, but has mellowed with old age :D
She's a JR x American Cocker Spaniel. Basically, she has the Spaniel black'n'white colouring, and she's JR shaped, right down to the little turned-out front paws.:D
I had to go to the post office in the next estate this afternoon, so I combined it with her walk to save turning out twice. It's further than she usually goes, but she was fine, and enjoyed all the new sniffs. Also, it got around my fear of leaving the house alone (if I have a dog with me, I'm not alone). Luckily she walks quite nicely with the mobility buggy. She's tuckered out now, though!:D

Scampi has a new friend, Milo the Staffy pup :D I've just realised that I know a lot of the dogs names but I have no idea what the human owners are called, lol. The owner is a carer so her shifts are all over the place but we're going to get together at some point and take the dogs over to the big field up the road to have a run around together. Hopefully it'll become a regular thing, we really need to work on Scampi's manners when it comes to meeting new dogs. He's much better off the lead, with the lead on he barks at them like crazy.
It does them the world of good to learn to socialise with their own kind.:o I'm the same as you - know all the local dogs names, but the owners are "Marley's dad" or "Drummer's mum" etc. :rotfl:

Lainey GWS - presumably now you've shown willing, and turned up at work, you can stay off til you're better?
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
