All sales in a shop should be considered final unless advised otherwise at the time of the sale.markharriers wrote: »Hi purchased a sofa in the sale today at my local store and paid by credit card. Is there perhaps anything on the back of your receipt?
[STRIKE]I strongly suspect you have no right to return the goods unless they are faulty.[/STRIKE]
I strongly suspect you have no right to cancel the order unless the goods are faulty.0 -

Can not see anything on the receipt and I'm not returning them as such as they have to be made before I can have them delivered0 -
OK, then re-read the first line of my reply.markharriers wrote: »Can not see anything on the receipt and I'm not returning them as such as they have to be made before I can have them delivered
I'll re-write the last line as "I strongly suspect you have no right to cancel the order unless the goods are faulty".
And just to clarify, the only reason the words "strongly suspect" are in that sentence is because I have no way of knowing what you may have agreed with the seller at the time of the sale.
Certainly you have no statutory right to cancel the order, but you may have a contractual right if one was agreed, but that is unlikely.0 -
it's Scs, they have no cancelation rights for in store purchases.0

You could try going into the store and talking to the manager, I doubt they will care but it might be worth a try.
When it's delivered examine it carefully in front of the delivery guys, if there's any damage or faults reject it.0
