I have noticed in Lloyds they have a machine that they feed the notes into and dispense them from behind the counter, a little bit like a cash machine, so I guess that's why the open plan is possible.pandora205 wrote: »Lloyds bank in my town have recently removed screens and gone open plan again.... so maybe they'll all change back in time.
I don't particularly rate the software on the self service Barclays machines where you can pay coins into etc. It's rather flaky; I tried to print out a statement on one of these machines the other day and it wouldn't print, so I pressed the return card button to seek some assistance.
Only when I began to walk away did the machine start printing, and it spewed out about 20 copies of the same statement and went rather mental, and yet I pressed the print statement button twice at most.0 -
Is the food THAT bad?Baby_Angel wrote: »My OH worked in a KFC in London, where there is a glass screen over the counter. The space allows the height of their KFC Bucket. Still assaults on the service personnel continues.

I have visited Halifax, Lloyds, HSBC, TSB and Barclays on the last few weeks, all had a glass screen.0

The trend is from 'glass screen' to 'open plan'.. It's just a matter of the pace of change and specific branches. I don't think this is part of a reversal of a trend.0

The local Lloyds (used to be a TSB before merger) used to be open plan, now it not.0
