What is the new beige for towels / bedding

I need to buy new towels etc. I've been told that grey is the new beige, but grey towels? Is grey a bit, well grey. I could prob get white and turn them grey within a few weeks.

I know I should just get a colour I like, but I'm not inspired for any.

There are lots of 'pop' colours available at the moment. I personally would love orange towels. Aubergine towels are also nice or multi coloured stripes?

I won't use anything other than white. I love white towels. Going into hospital next week and they expect me to bring my own coloured towels. If they think I am going to buy new coloured towels they can think again.

    Grey? Beige? Yuck!

I try to get towels and bedding that matches the colour scheme of the room that they are going to be used it. The whole idea of fashion tends to pass me by.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

I still have the white towels that I got when my daughter was born 20+ years ago - and they are still dazzling white and thick and fluffy! I also have some pink and dh has black. Cannot beat pristine white imho - buy top quality, wash regularly with only white items and they will last ages!
  • I've read this thread with utter disbelief.

I'm with you - White only.

Why do the hospital want you to bring in coloured towels?
    What's wrong with white?
