Back again. Friend has gone to pub to meet her DH. There is a live band playing. She asked me to go but I am too tired. Any other Saturday night I would have been out there like a shot lol. Love live bands and the one that is playing tonight is pretty good.

Friend has just phoned me she found out what had happened last night from someone in the pub. I know the guy who died he lives about 50 yards from me. He was walking home and there was a fight outside one of the pubs in town and he got hit on the back of the head with a bottle. He wasn't even involved. He was completely innocent. He is about the same age as my DS. What a waste of life. Hope the Police catch who it was and the courts throw the book at him.

Ho dear Rose that's terrible. Hope the police catch those involved. So sorry for the young man and his family. Shock for you too that he lived so close.
Try to get some sleep tonight know it is going to be difficult.

Think you should have another glass if wine if it will make you sleep.. Big hugs.

Hope you're all well this morning. I got a £4 Waitrose gift card in the post after complaining about their rotten avocados earlier in the week, hooray! (I only spent £1.60 on them too!)

Morning Firefly! Birds are singing here too, but I've yet to see the sun! Wishing I hadn't got up so early on a Sunday, but I suppose it's a good thing as I have lots to do today!
