Well done on win ff. Love these things for kids as they are not kids for long nowadays. In saying that kids books are ageless. I still have some of mine. They are a bit worn out and GK's ask for them but they do not leave my house. Do not mind them reading them here as that is what they are for.

Finally got my internet back on! I was sick of seeing the kids moping around with long faces! God knows how they would cope if they went back to when I was a kid growing up without computers and phones!

Hope it's not too cold today for you Sylvia, Alfie. It was Baltic here this morning that I had to put on another cardigan! By lunchtime it was warm and humid again! Weird weather.

As DH was about to go out yesterday (borrrowing sons bike) a car came speeding around the corner. We live on a fairly narrow road with tight corners too and my neighbour was out walking her dog. The car just missed her and smashed down a neighbours fence and just drove off! What he didn't know is that most of my neighbours have cameras on their house so they have the car reg and police involved! I'm just glad DH decided to run back in for a wee before going out or it could have been nasty.

Good Morning all,

Just popped in to say we have had a lovely 2 days and apart from fog yesterday morning the weather was fine. Raining a bit now though but hoping it will be dry by the time we get to Whitby and Saltburn. Looking forward to seeing them again. Then we will need to find our Middlebrough hotel and its parking which is behind it in a multi storey. DH hates multi storeys so expect he will moan about that!
My nephew's gf had a baby girl yesterday, she was induced as her bp was going up and they said it was a big baby. It was a huge baby - 11lbs 1oz!

Glad you have your internet back wingo and hope to see you tomorrow.

Wingo so pleased to hear your DH and neighbour were ok. Pleased you have wifi. Know what you mean about internet and family. I was upset early this morning because wifi wouldn't work my side of bedroom. Gave up in the end.

Yesterday afternoon was brilliant weather wise and today it's
the most beautiful sunny day here complete with blue skies -
so I'm a very happy bunny. The weather is so changeable at
the mo ... so I'm making the most while it's decent!

Afternoon everyone
Well done on the win FF.Wow sheils that' is a big baby, congrats to them and you. I have been busy since last week at work,glad to have a couple of days off now.Trying to catch up with housework and washing. I did put a line of towels out this morning and just brought them in dry so that was a bonus. Clouding over now so i must have timed it right.Right off to some comps.
