Afternoon everyone and hope you've all had a wonderful Christmas
It's been lovely, we've had non stop games, daft tv, drinks and lots of junk food! We played that game where you put a thing in your mouth and have to speak and that was really funny! My living room looked like a gym with a bike, exercise bike, beam, gym mat, weighted hula hoop, ankle weights and dumbells!

I wish we had some frost fire**fly, I've been sleeping on top of the bed last few night because I was so hot!

Sorry to hear your family had sick bug Sylvia, it's awful having it at Xmas time xx

Hopefully next year Sheils your son might be home from Sydney. Glad you had a good day too

Wow indie, sounds like you had a good Xmas feast with turkey, beef and honey roast ham! We had turkey and beef but we were all stuffed so didn't eat a lot.

Hope everyone is well and had some good advent wins
Just gonna watch a movie with DD and have some more chocs!

Sounds like you have had a good time. Enjoy your movie and chocs with DD. DS1 is more likely to come in the summer than Xmas. My cousin's son came back from Melbourne for Xmas and had a dreadful journey with the wind. Once DD is a mental health nurse we might be spending Xmas just our two selves some years as everyone could either be working or living abroad!

Hi all,

Hope you got a walk in Sheils. Know what you mean about walking in the wind.

We had frost here this morning too. Still there when we went out before 9.30. Trains that were going into London were all delayed. DH drove GD and me all the way up to the theatre in the end for Peppa Pig.
Originally I went in for tickets for DD2s children but they haven't come to due colds and coughs SIL also was sick.
A friend met us with her daughter and the children really enjoyed it. The Phoexix is a really small theatre and we had great tickets in the stalls.

Sheils so sorry to hear your family were ill. Hope DH improves soon. Horrible to be ill at Christmas time. Here it's just been coughs, colds and sore throats. Everyone has been effected.

Wingo hope you enjoyed the film and chocs. Here GD asked this afternoon could she have something sweet. They are so surprised we had something. DH eats desert but we don't normally have biscuits, chocolate or sweets.

Pleased you had a good Christmas FireFly. Yes, hugs for anyone needing one.

Shame people have been ill.
We got our walk thanks FF - lovely day here. Strange to hear about everyones frost. Forecast here for tonight is 8! Funny for Scotland to be so much warmer.

Evening, we had a hard frost this morning,took me ages to clear the car windows so i could go to work. The roads were nice and quiet which is why i love working bank holidays..lol.No traffic. Think we are going to have another frost as well FF. Just been out to car and it's freezing up already.Don't mind tonight freezing as i'm not at work tomorrow.

Looking dull here this morning but really mild.
Waiting "patiently" to see details of the Village Hotel Club sale. Got some great bargains from them this year and for next week so hope I won't be disappointed this time.
Will be nice to get back to normal for a few days before Hogmanay.
Hope everyone still having a nice time.
