Oh dear Sylvia, hope you manage to fix your soup maker. Sometimes it might be the fuse in the plug so hope that helps.

I didn't really watch much of xfactor last night as was plaiting DD's never ending hair up so luckily I missed Phoney G and her !!!!ping to bee gees! I will watch her get voted off tonight though! :D Loved the pic you compared her to fire**fly :D

Hope you manage to get your laptop fixed Katie.

Good luck getting through DD's paperwork Sylvia! I've got 2 job applications to get through but I'm waiting for Microsoft office to be sent as the form are through there but I don't have it yet.

Just been to Tesco while DD was in gymnastics and they had a 2 mins silence. The majority of people including kids stopped to pay their respects in silence but there was still quite a few ignorant adults just going about talking and couldn't care less. I thought it was very disrespectful.

Well I'll join you in that coffee now Alfie before I finish off doing beef stew for later ;)
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

Totally with you Indie. I don't usually watch It now. So by th e sounds of it we are not missing much. As someone said all the good ones are voted off early.

Sylvia hope you have fixed your soup maker.

Hope your computer is fixed soon Tulip.

Wingo talk to someone in the know as you are doing your job application. I always sat down with a friend after doing a trial run. Applications are so complicated these days. Good luck with it.

Can't believe the bad news we have had lately. DD1 phoned to say her friend went into labour this morning.and at lunch time lost her baby girl at 34 weeks. When we picked GS just over a week ago from school she said how upset she had been when our DD1 lost the twins last year at 23 weeks. Her eldest is in class with GS they are best friends and DD1 has taken them both to a birthday party today. So sad.

I was just going to say we are all quiet her but I can hear DS with GKs coming in.

Aw that's so sad leanfun, sorry to hear about DD's friend xx

Indie, you're definitely not missing much on xfactor, Phoney g is still in even though most of the country hate her and boo her every time so it's got to be a fix.

I'm actually watching imacelebrity tonight. I don't normally like it but there's a couple in I like so see how it goes but the minute I see them eating slugs etc it's getting switched off!

Good morning all, another wet one here

Had a productive day yesterday. Mad 2 sets of kitchen curtains for DD. Printed off all the emails back and forth about the earrings that they are not sending and wrote a letter to ASA enclosing all the correspondence so will have to wait and see now. Tried to send a pm on their fb page but it seems that is not possible.

So sorry about your DD's friend leanfun.

Well Christmas is coming so fast now I need to get a shify on.

    Good luck everyone.
BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS

    Morning all,

Just popped in to see what everyone is up to.
Had a lovely day yesterday seeing Ripon and Fountain's Abbey and Studley Royal Water Gardens. Have been before but it is beautiful there and hadn't been in the Autumn before.
Got a few options for today - would have liked to see The Yorkshire Sculpture Park but it is £8 to park for the day and I'm not paying that so if we can't get into the free laybys we are going to Anglers Country Park I think. Looks like weather is being kind to us.
    Good Luck everyone.
