Evening everyone
These nights are getting colder! I've had my washing out most of the day which was a waste of time as it was still damp when I brought it in!
Sylvia, well done on the win :j lovely little stocking fillersI've started getting toiletries for my 3 as they're all into makeup, sprays, spot removers etc. I love doing the beauty boxes for them.
Well done to GS on his win Rose, great win :j
Ooh I do love the Gruffalo leanfun, I've got the two DVDs ...well, for the kids anyway! We have a gruffalo hunt in one of our local woods.
Girls are fine thanks, DD2 has some other stuff from drs for her stomach and sickness so it's ok so far.
I expect there'll be lots of Xmas dailies coming up fire**flyI must start and do them again. Fingers crossed for a win for you
It's very autumnal now isn't Alfie. There's leaves everywhere. We went to wildlife Forrest today with Jasper looking for conkers too. Jasper just thought it was great fun to roll around in the mud! I managed to get some conkers closer to home anyway, hopefully to get rid of spiders!
Thanks for tip on mint teabags, I don't drink tea but DH does and he leaves a plastic tray full of teabags next to kettle! I go mad about it cos they stink but he says he likes to empty them all at once! (Strange man!)
I also thought it was very 'convenient' for wheel to stop on fright night too Alfie in XFactor. I said to DD before it came on that I bet it stops there.
I need to go and put some extra layers on, I'm too cold.Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
Morning peeps. Still dark here.. Will head of to shop to buy a newspaper later. Picking up kids from school in the afternoon. GD wants lasagne for dinner. So raiding freezer as have some there.0

Looking ok here, not supposed to be as sunny as it has been but fine.
DD was up for a roast chicken dinner last night - she appreciates our cooking a lot more now she doesn't live at home! She is full of her course and really enjoying it although says there is lots and lots of written work involved and she does need to keep on top of it.
We are heading off on Monday to stay at a Premier Inn right beside the next section of the Lancaster Canal we are due to walk so keeping fingers crossed it will be dry. (don't do walks in the rain!) then we go to Blackpool for 2 nights. Tempted to add Sunday to break as lots of offers on but resisting so far.
Have a lucky day everyone.

 Good morning everyone!
We had the most beautiful day here yesterday - bit of
an Indian summer going on me thinks! And it was
very warm.
Foggy this morning but now that's lifted and it's
turning out to be a bright and beautiful day. :T
Agree with all though, the temp first thing in the morn
and as the evenings draw in definitely drops a tad!

I loveautumn too sylv.
Had a wonderful walk yesterday thank you fire**fly :A
and time permitting ..... I shall be going out again, maybe
a different route this time.
Lots of ponies, donkeys etc wandering about at this time
of year - wonderful to see them all.
The one thing that spoils it though is bloomin' car drivers
who consider that they have the rights to the forest, not
the beautiful creatures - and sadly there have been a
few serious incidents of hit and run cases (at night)
where the animals are left for dead.
Sadly this was the case recently of a donkey foal and
youngish horse (found in the morning by dog walkers) -
both had passed away. _pale_
I really don't know how these 'people' sleep at
night!
Great your DD is enjoying her course sheils. I agree
there's nothing more scrumptious than home-cooked
meals.
wingo - lol at Jasper rolling around in the mud .... typical
doggie! Hope the conkers work their magic re your
eight legged 'friends' lurking in the house!
Time I wasn't here, got loads to catch up on. Have a
lovely and lucky day all and take care.

they can sleep at night
hope one day they can find a way to catch them.
awww, lol @ lottie sylv
I love watching the dogs & cats playing in the leaves,
a great adventure for them & gives us much pleasure watching

:dance:please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
Lovely pice firefly.
Agree with firefly Alfie it so sad when peeps hit and run animals.
I hope you enjoy your few days off Indie.
Glad your DD is enjoying your course Sheils. Its amazing how the kids keep coming back for a roast dinner, mine do too.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
It is a shame about animals being hit but we live in an area where deer go onto the main roads and cause serious accidents. We have come close to hitting a deer ourselves and DD's bf ran one which had already been hit lying on the road which caused him quite a bit of money when he ran over it. Obviously different when cars are going through a forest.
Loving everyones pics as usual. Must admit I have never seen animals playing in leaves.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
