If you haven't stayed in hotels lately FF you would be surprised at what you can have now. So many have fresh fruit salads some made into little portions with yoghurt or little mixed berry ones with yoghurt. Usually huge choice for main course. I even get smoked salmon and scrambled egg in some private hotels which is lovely for a change. Quite often croissant, pastries, muffins etc too.
No wonder I can't lose weight!:o

lol, you're right sheils, been a good few years since
I had breakfast in a hotel, they all sound delicious now :drool:

Son is off to sea to test out boat (submarine) for a week or so untill he leaves next month for three month deployment. Hopefully this time they wont keep them out for longer as his last one was recorded as the longest time they ever kept a boat out.Nearly 15 weeks. Which is why he was not home last Christmas or New Year. As we only have capability to protect the country with four subs that carry nuclear weapons they are kept out longer and longer. Have got an inkling with Russia being ar*y they may be kept out longer again as there are only ever two of them out at a time and as his return is due just sometime before Christmas he may miss it again.

Have to explain there are loads of British subs out a sea at any one time but they do not carry trident missiles.

Shiels do not expect the person in the navy you know to talk about it. He wont tell you about it he will answer loads of questions but he wont tell you. I have got my answers as a civil servant and signed the act but my job was not within the services but government.

Will do ff eaten bacon and Egg sandwich can now sit back and watch tv and search internet and especially Amazon for new bag that I want to match purse I got from son for birthday it looks a bit too posh for mine lol. It is D & G. Looks fab but goodness when it comes out of my bag. Bag looks scruffy. Will have to ask for a new bag for Christmas unless I find one. He always asks what I want. Told him a purse and goodness sake I get one that is worth a lot and actually not worth what he paid for it. Wish he wouldn't ask what I want and just get me something like a card and some flowers
