Hi everyone, hope you are all OK.
Our plastering is drying nicely. Had ordered a new swivel/rocking chair and it came this afternoon so been trying to sort that out. DH says "it looks wider than my chair so you will be able to have Lottie on it with you" Think it was his way of saying he would like one too LOL.
Have a lovely time with your family leanfun I am sure you will make the most of the time with them while they are here.
Glad you got back OK Sheils.
Will catch up again tomorrow.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Evening everyone  I've attempted to write a post a few times but my iPad kept crashing so I gave up!
Nice to see some lovely wins in here :j Well done on the shoes and granola fire**fly :T
April, hope your parcel is something exciting :T
Good luck with the house decorating Sylviaand well done on the poncho too :T We have a swivel tub chair in the lounge but I've had to move it back against the wall as my son can't resist swivelling on it constantly!
Sheils that was lucky bumping into a neighbour while on holiday! I'm a bit worried even more now about going to Turkey after last nights bombing. DH isn't concerned but I feel like asking to change our hol!
Alfie, fingers crossed for the sun again tomorrow so you can do your gardening. Ours is at a standstill again!
Good luck with the new job inkling and hope you get to watch your film soon
DD has her prom tomorrow and has been for a spray tan today. She insists on showing me her white bits!
I feel old now, wasn't that long ago she was starting nursery!Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
:hello: Good morning everyone! I hope you're all well.
After the rain we had yesterday, today is looking bright
'n beautiful.
Just back in from looking around my garden - it's
looking lush but a tad wet! I'll maybe wait a while before
I get going out there! Plenty needs doing though, particularly
at this time of year when every plant seems to be having
a growth spurt!
wingo - I'm fairly excited for your DD :A re the prom at
her school this evening! I'm sure she'll have a ball and
look like a princess.
Lol at fred re your lovely new swivel/rocking chair sylv!
Must admit - I like the sound of it too!
Awww - hope you get to use your next win Inkling. Wonder
what's in your parcel April, love surprise wins! Fingers
'n paws crossed for you.
Welcome home shiels! That would be perfect weather
conditions for me ..... dry through the day and a sprinkle
of rain during the night!
Have a lovely 'n lucky day all, take care - I'll pop by
later.

Can't believe it is nearly July. I nearly put the heating on last night!
Put the electric blanket on for an hour before bed anyway.
Not feeling much warmer now and rain forecast for the afternoon so will need to get the washing out quickly.
Enjoy your sunshine Alfie (really jealous)
Travelling is always a worry wingo. We aren't very adventurous these days and tend to stick to Spain and the Canaries.
Hope your DD has a great time at the Prom. These things can get out of control with limos etc as well as everything else to pay for
Hope there are some last minute wins for everyone.

Good morning all!
Sheils, you're not alone - actually had to put the heating on last night (shaking my head in confusion the whole time). It's grey here and doesn't look like it bodes much better than yesterday, still... a nice cup of tea goes down better in gloomy weather, so there's that!Restarted comping July 28th, 20190 -
Haha, glad I'm not the only one who thought it was a bit chilly last night! I actually made a hot water bottle for bed, although I was too hot as soon as I got in!
I've had a horrible feeling that my parcel might be my contact lenses that get sent every 3 months. I had a false alarm with them a few months ago when I thought it might be a win! It would be a few days early for them though, and the box is designed to go through the letterbox! Hmph.
I can understand your worries about Turkey, wingo. I suppose if we stopped doing things because something might happen then we'd never go anywhere at all though! It's a tricky one.0 -
good morning all
lovely morning here though a bit chilly in
the shade,
was chatting to a couple of the neighbours earlier & some
also have their heating back on sheils/Inkling,
haven't got ours on & hopefully won't have to!
hope DD has a great time at her prom wingo,
it's an expensive time for the families,
GS sent us a pic of him in his new suit looking
all grown up & proud but his dad saying how
much it was all costing
hope there's a win for you soon Ali2222, good luck
lol @ the swivel/rocking chair sylv,
you'll have to get fred one
gardens very wet here too Alfie but plants are looking
all healthy
hope it dries up for you to get out in yours
have a great day all & fingers crossed it's a lucky onex

Morning. fine here so far today. Showers and cold yesterday.
Well we made it to the Palladium last night to see the first ever showing of Eugenius. It was a love story based around the eighties. As the first one-off show there was no scenery and the cast had scripts but after a few minutes you forgot that. The musicians and a backing choir on stage. The singing was excellent and the songs very catchy. We had great seats in the Royal Circle. Another brilliant night out thanks to comping.
Wingo did think of you and your holiday yesterday. Depends where you are flying to. Definitely tricky one. Do hope your DD has a great evening and throughly enjoys it all. Looking back it does seem no time since they were little ones.
Sylvia so pleased to hear of your surprise win in your new home. All the address changing payed off.
Well congrats on all the wins. Good luck everyone for end of months.0
